I write linear. Average about 1,500 words per chapter and do a complete edit after ten chapters. This helps tie it all together and allow me time to consider the next ten chapters. After I edit each ten chapters, I send it off to BETAs and start the next ten whilst waiting for the feedback. I like to write tight so there isn&#039;t much cutting at the end.
